The Northern Indiana Tennis Association is a non-profit corporation which is the governing body of tennis in Northern Indiana. The Northern Indiana area includes the counties of Adams, Allen, Benton, Blackford, Caroll, Cass, DeKalb, Elkhart, Fulton, Grant, Howard, Huntington, Jasper, Jay, Kosciusko, La Porte, LaGrange, Lake, Marshall, Miami, Newton, Noble, Porter, Pulaski, St. Joseph, Starke, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, White and Whitley in addition to Niles Michigan Zip Code 49120. NIN is one of the 13 districts of the Midwest Tennis Association, which in turn is the governing body of tennis in an area comprised of the states of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, most of Illinois, and part of West Virginia and Kentucky. The Midwest is one of the seventeen sections of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), which in turn is the governing body of tennis in this country.
Our mission is to "To Promote, Develop, and Service the Game of Tennis."

USTA/Midwest Section Bringing Tennis to Ohio Schools

Within the past 6 months, the USTA/Midwest Section, working closely with the local Districts, have been able to bring tennis to 19 schools in the Canton School District, 31 schools in the Akron School District, and 16 schools in the Cincinnati School District. The coordinated effort culminated in March 2014 when 75 schools in the Cleveland Metro School District, the second largest district in the state of Ohio, also added tennis to their physical education curriculums. The United States Tennis Association (USTA) has named Ferris State University’s (FSU) club tennis team as the 2013-14 Tennis On Campus National Club of the Year. The award is presented annually to the college or university club tennis team that has achieved a level of sustained excellence, while also demonstrating a commitment to giving back to their local community. New Scholarship Available for HS Seniors

The EntouRAJ for Kids College Scholarship is given to Indiana high school seniors who have played tennis on their high school teams while working hard off the court to achieve academic excellence. Financial need also is considered. EntouRaj for Kids will award multiple college scholarships of up to $1,000 each for the 2014-15 academic year. Read More
